The chic (indoor) rooftop dinner

If you are looking to take your love to new heights this Valentine’s Day, then you must dine at SAGA. Whisk your date to the 63rd floor of 70Pine for front row views of the Midtown Skyline from this swanky penthouse.

Couples can gaze lovingly across the table while savoring an exquisite seven to ten-course tasting menu for $245 each, with signature cocktails built-in. With some dishes having sharing options for the table, the dining team will accommodate most dietary restrictions and allergies with advance notice. The Moroccan themed cuisine will transport you and your lover right out of the frigid temperatures of New York City.

Although this isn’t the spot where the tables are covered in white table cloths, the dining experience at SAGA is uniquely crafted to ensure a relaxed elegant ambiance for this romantic occasion.

Whether it’s your first date or your fortieth, SAGA is sure to be an experience you’ll remember for years to come. Reservations are hard to get but we’re not surprised with the charm and beauty of this spot.

The cute Hinge date

You won’t need to travel all the way to the city of love this Valentine’s Day. Instead, enjoy a taste of Paris closer to home at La Mercerie!

Whether meeting your Hinge date for the first time or looking to take things on the lighter side, La Mercerie is the perfect place to enjoy French vibes with a cozy feel to it.

Located in SoHo with floral accents and gorgeous interiors, this place will make any lunch date a dreamy moment for you to enjoy. In addition to indulging in their decadent French food, wines, and cocktails – you can purchase their home decor and tableware.

The vibe here is elevated and lively and the perfect spot to break the ice for a first date.

The not-so-casual bar date

Want to skip dinner and go straight to the drinks? Don’t worry, Overstory is a gorgeous cocktail bar located on the 64th floor above SAGA for those looking to celebrate a boozy Valentine’s Day.

This spot has the most stunning 360‑degree views of the NYC skyline with its panoramic windows. They have incredible, hand‑crafted cocktails, as well as non‑alcoholic, beer, and wine options.

We love the “212” (Whiskey, Vermouth, Cocoa Nib, Amaro, Black Pear) and the “Yucateco” (Mezcal, Gin, Banana, Hoja Santa, Chile, Lime). If you’re looking for something non‑alcoholic, try the delicious and refreshing “Sim Simma” (Ginger, Hoja Santa, Banana, Lime, Soda).

The vibe is chic and elevated and has a “behind the curtains” speakeasy feel to it ‑ with bar seating, table seating, and a terrace. This is a perfect spot to end your Valentine’s day celebrations.

The grown and sexy date night

Buddha Bar is one of the hottest restaurants in NYC right now! From the dining room to the bar, this place will guarantee a sultry start to your Valentine’s day evening plans.

Buddha Bar is a well-loved international chain that serves delicious Pan-Asian cuisine. We love their cocktails and their food is to die for! Our favorites include the Toro Tartare, Duck & Foie Gras Dumplings, and their Sushi option. You definitely can’t skip dessert with their yummy lychee, guava, and matcha flavored options.

So remember, if you’re ready to say “let’s make love” but not quite ready to say “I love you”, Buddha Bar is the perfect place to kick off the night.

The classic date

If you’re going for a classic night of romance, then Carbone is the place to be. This Love Day, Carbone is offering a 4-course prix fixe menu of their Italian-American fare for $225 per guest.

With the sophisticated and romantic atmosphere, you can experience the in-house sommelier who will excellently pair wine with every course.

This A-lister spot is a perfect place to wow your date with an unforgettable experience with eye-wateringly delicious food and a romantic (in an old-fashioned sort of way) vibe.

If you and your partner are opting for the full experience, Carbone’s menu is á la carte, allowing you to enjoy the menu your way. But be sure to order the infamous Spicy Vodka Rigatoni, it is one of our absolute faves! Reservations can be difficult to get in this quaint authentic red-sauce restaurant, but worth it.
